Upgrade of existing CREZ v2.4 or v3.x
- Backup your database by running CREZ and clicking 'Backup Database' on the Main Menu. We remind our users to do this frequently in case of unexpected computer crashes. This will save your current CREZ database.
- Uninstall existing CREZ product through 'Control Panel'.
- Proceed with installation (see below).

- Download the installer by clicking on the button above and selecting 'Save' (remember where you saved the file)
- Close all other programs.
- Double-click the Installer and follow the onscreen directions. If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7, right-click on the installer and select 'Run as Administrator'.
- Install the 'Tablet SDK' (only for Windows XP users) and 'Windows Media Encoder', even if you are not using a Tablet PC. If Tablet SDK and Windows Media Encoder have been previously installed then select 'Repair' when asked to 'Repair, Modify or Replace'.
- If using Windows Vista or Windows 7, change the Database Permissions by doing the following (not required for Windows XP):
- Go to C drive ("C:"). Right-click the "CREZ" folder and select Properties. Select Security tab.
- Click "Edit" to change permissions. If "Continue" or "Cancel" appears, click "Continue".
- In "Group or user names" box select "Users" Group.
- Check "Allow" box labeled "Full Control" in "Permissions for Users" box.
- Click Apply and close the windows.
- If you are using an HDD Camera or plan to leave/re-encode your video in MPEG format then please go here to download proper codecs for Windows Media Player.
- After the installation is completed, open CREZ by double-clicking the Desktop icon. The Main Menu should appear. In order to create a 'Game' you must go to the 'Teams' menu and create at least one team. After a team has been created, from the Main Menu click on the 'Games' tab and select 'New GameStats' to create a new game.
- If you need to turn off Data Execution Prevention (DEP) to run CREZ please do the following:
- Left click on the start button. Go to 'All Program--Accessories--Command Prompt'. Right-click on the Command Prompt and select 'Run as Administrator'. The command prompt should pop up reading C:/Windows/system32>
- Enter "bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff". No quotes and the brackets around the word current must be curly also noting the spaces between words. You should receive a confirmation of success.
- Restart your computer.
- Try using CREZ again and see if the problem persists.
